What We Are Looking for:
ISGlobal is looking for a GIS and health impact assessment modeller who will help with the quantitative analysis of a few datasets and apply health impact assessment estimates as part of the MappingAir project, a European project funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme. The project aims to evaluate health and well-being effects of exposure to air pollution. The objective is to assess exposures of studies conducted in Barcelona and conduct knowledge translation.
Main Duties and Tasks:
To conduct GIS analyses, quantitative analysis, health impact assessments and knowledge translation. The person will work together with others on the study to conduct the GIS, HIA and statistical analyses and conduct knowledge translation.
- Duration: 6 months.
- Starting date: September 1.

REQUIRED EDUCATION LEVELManagement sciences: Master Degree or equivalentEnvironmental science: Master Degree or equivalent
- Experience on the analysis of quantitative data, GIS, health impact assessment and knowledge translation.
- Languages: English
- Degree in public health or equivalent
- Experience in health impact assessment
- Skills in writing and reporting
- Good organisational skills
- Good communications skills
- Can work in groups
