ザンビア鉛鉱床地域のイヌの血中鉛濃度を明らかに ～現地住民の鉛中毒による健康被害解明に期待～
ザンビア鉛鉱床付近に棲むイヌの血中には高濃度の鉛が含まれており、同地域のヒトと同傾向と判明。 血中鉛濃度とイヌの年齢には負の相関があり、若いイヌほど体内に含まれる鉛が多いことが判明。 鉛鉱床地域の歩哨動物として汚染の検知や汚染源の同定、治療の方針策定に役立つことが期待。 https://www.jst.go.jp/pr/announce/20200226/index.html -

世界最高級強度のレーザー光を物質に照射した結果、電子の特異な振る舞いを解明し、新たな理論モデルを提唱した。 集光サイズが小さくなると、電子のエネルギーが一気に高くなると同時に加速領域から外れる独特のメカニズムがあることを解明した。 この理論モデルは、レーザーを使った高エネルギー粒子加速器開発における指標となるものであり、量子メス（次世代小型高性能重粒子線がん治療装置）の実現に向けての重要な知見である。 https://www.jst.go.jp/pr/announce/20200227/index.html
